Pros- the cool building and the location. The not so greats - It was confusing. We didn't know what to do when we walked in. ... Go to the counter and order? Seat ourself? Go in the back and cook our own food? No sign, no indication. So after standing inthe doorway for a few minutes with no sign of employee in sight we were halfway out the door to leave and someone came from theback and asked if we need help. Apparently you do order and pay at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Whoknew? The food was OK. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything that we couldn't make at home. Breakfast foods, chicken salad, soups. It's a limited menu and basic. The only employee there confirmed he was the owner when we asked. I get it, owning arestaurant is hard. Long hours, (probably) little money, but the owner didn't smile, didn't make eye contact and only spoke tous the bare minimum. The experience was of functionality, no more. Between the menu and the atmosphere there just isn't areason to return for a second visit. Read more

First time visit. Legit one of my favorite and best breakfasts I?ve had in ages. Biscuits and gravy? Amazing. Home fries?... Perfection. Eggs and bacon were out of this world. I was in awe and disbelief the entire meal at how good it was. I believe thechef was named Joe and he made us an incredible meal. Supremely impressed and will definitely be returning. Read more

I had the Biskets and Gravy with Hashbrowns. The Hashbrowns were seasoned very well and cooked perfectly. I knew from the first... bite that I was in for a great breakfast. The Biskets were nice and fluffy. The sausage gravy was excellent. All of it wasseasoned perfectly and was not to salty. The service was excellent and our food came in a short amount of time. I willdefinitely make this a regular breakfast stop whenever I'm in Lebanon Ohio. I had to have the Biskets and Gravy again to see ifthey were as good as last time. They were! I highly recommend the Cherry Street Cafe for breakfast if you're ever in LebanonOhio. Read more

Great little hidden gem! Definitely will be back. I had a roast beef grilled cheese sandwich, wife had a chicken salad sandwich... and we split some chicken tenders that were probably the best I've had. If you are ever our that way stop in and give them try Read more

We saw the average was 4.3 stars and assumed it was a can?t miss. It was a huge miss. We shouldn?t have gone in when we saw the... lot was empty. We should have left when we walked into no AC and an empty restaurant. We should have left when the lady at thecounter was unfriendly. Every alarm in my head said ?RUN!? We stayed and it was terrible. The place is a dump?floors are stickyn gross, it?s old in a run down way, it was hot and sticky, the restrooms are gross and the toilet was filthy in the ladies room(according to my daughters). But I kept hoping the food would match the reviews. Nope. The kids meal burgers were dry, came ina bun they didn?t eat because they were so dry and came with about 12 skinny, cold fries. The rest of us had Turkey clubs thatwere so dry I had to drink water with each bite to get it down. No cheese, flavorless bacon and the bread was thick, dense anddry. Not sure where they get their breads but they should find a new vendor. It supposedly comes with a chipotle ranch but therewas so little of it I couldn?t taste it. Anyway, I don?t write reviews but this place is awful and we?d have been better offgoing literally anywhere else. Stay away. Read more
