One of the best authentic Thai restaurants in the south KC area. I try something new every time and I am always pleasantly... surprised with the flavor and quality. The Panang Curry is an absolute must try. Highly recommend. Read more
Worst Thai restaurant we have been to. Food is good enough like any decent Thai place but the service was terrible. They charged... us for items that were never served, although we asked for them. When we pointed out, no apologies. Instead, we will try to giveyou refund. Not something we needed on a Friday night for a hardworking family. Let me start by saying that I have been enjoying Mali Thai Bistro for many years now. It is a staple of Lee's Summit and my wife... and I spend many meals here. Tonight's order was totally underwhelming unfortunately. My wife ordered a chicken Panang Curry,which was still delicious. I ordered a Chicken Pad Ka Prao, which you guessed it, still delicious. That said, we only receivedone order of rice to split between the two orders. It was a laughable portion to have to share. Another sad, but potentiallyisolated event, was the state of our crab Rangoon. The usual light, creamy filling was nothing special this time. Just a genericcrab Rangoon. It was wrapped in an unusual fried, puffy dough (see photo). We were very let down by their appearance andtaste. All of this to say that we spent over $40 for a very mediocre presentation and taste.
