I had a delicious flight of reds, one of which I liked so much I bought a few bottles to take home. The bottley were reasonably... priced, too. We had a couple of appetizers, and they were tasty, but rather small. They didn't seem unique or creative enough towarrant the small size for the price. It’s a small little restaurant, it was pretty nice with low lighting, the food is very upscale for the price. The waiter was... very experienced with helping me find the best wine. Really like this place. The food was very well prepared and tasty. The basement wine bar/restaurant is beautiful inside… not... what I was expecting. I like these surprises. It is definitely a great date night place with great ambiance. The staff waswell trained and attentive. I knocked a star because my wine was a bit flat, but I switched wines with my wife who was lookingfor a red less big. Maybe a poor choice? Regardless, I will definitely be coming back for the food, service, and ambiance andhope I choose a better wine next time for a five-star experience. Walked in during peak dining hours (6-7 PM) without a reservation and accepted their offer for us to eat in the small waiting... area in front of the door - instead of waiting the 2 hours needed for the next table. Food was amazing -- duck was delicious.Wines were very good - bought a bottle on our way out. Service was courteous, attentive, and efficient, even though we were satin the waiting area. Since the waiting area was empty when we first walked in, we picked the special window facing portion ofthe bar top table there and it was a nice private meal for an hour and a half. Read more
