My first visit here. My lunch consisted of ribs, baked beans, and fries, and my host was the lovely Piper. My friends, I've... been all over the US, and everywhere I go, I *always* sample the local BBQ! And I must say that I was astonished at how goodthe BBQ is at BlueGrass BBQ, it was among the best I've ever had, anywhere. The best I've had before was at the Hard Eight BBQin Coppell, TX, and this ranks right up there with them! Not only were the ribs extremely tender and delicious, but even thefries were seasoned and properly fried, they were not plain (as most places serve) and they were not undercooked (as so manyplaces tend to do). I'll admit that I have a sweet tooth and prefer sweet BBQ, and BlueGrass BBQ made me very happytoday! This is a small, local BBQ joint, and I very highly recommend them, I think this BBQ is just about as good as it gets. Read more
Came in last night with my wife and children and the service was excellent and food was made quickly. Miranda was an fantastic... server, she came back several times and was knowledgeable about the menu. Had a rack of ribs, brisket, and children had theirkids meals. The quality is top notch with tender flavorful cuts of meat coupled with homemade BBQ sauce. This was the firsttime I had the ribs and I dare say they are in the top 3 I've had in my life time. We stopped by here on our way from vacation and it was the perfect choice! It smelled amazing when you walked in and tasted even... better. The pulled pork was some of the best I ever had and the bbq sauce was tangy and sweet. I loved the potato salad and thefries were so crispy. Would highly recommend this place! Read more
Took wife and kids there for dinner on our last day of vacation. I got sampler #1. Ribs were perfect pulled right off the bone. ... Wings were crispy skin with great smoke flavor and juicy meat. The turkey ribs were moist and had nice smoke flavor. Best BBQI've had since living in Arkansas. Wife got a backed potato that was huge. The brisket was moist.
