Red Door has multiple locations, we’ve been to 4 and they are consistently good. We always make a reservation because they... always seem to be busy and it is the easiest way to get seated quickly (& in a booth). The service is always great, and we areslowly working our way through the menu—we have some favorite dishes for sure, but haven’t had anything bad. The mangomojito is divine, as is the prime rib they serve Friday-Sunday. The prime rib French dip is great, and we enjoyed the misosalmon, meatloaf, and the half chicken… this is our go-to date night place. They don’t push it, but they do have a rewardsprogram—we got a free appetizer for signing up, and after going twice had earned a free dessert. Clean, uncluttered atmosphere. Friendly staff. Half-price bottles of wine on Sundays. I ordered the prime rib French dip and it... was delicious! The house made ranch dressing is good too. Gotta have that for my fries! Well worth the trip from Topeka to eathere. Read more

So I've eaten at the red door in KCMO and had a excellent experience, so i thought I would give the one in Lenexa a try. Well... like the first time it was pretty busy only this time we had to wait about 50 minutes maybe a little over that for a party oftwo. No biggie it's a Friday evening. After being seated the rest of the evening went pretty smooth our server was excellent thefood was outstanding. The atmosphere definitely family oriented and busy.
