Since the opening of Popeye's here in Lenoir, I have not been disappointed until now. My first and second visits were pleasant... and my orders were correct. Yesterday, my third visit, occured without incident, however, there was a long wait for the sweettea. I get home, ready to taste southern sweet tea only to discover that I had brown water that was barely sweet! Whoever"brewed" the tea didn't understand the assignment. Read more
Arrived there excited to try the new place in town. Only fine the service was rude and food quality poor. Had better chicken at... KFC not even close the Chick-fil-A. Honestly I was very concerned with the food being fully cooked. A person shouldn't have topick the pieces of chicken apart to make sure it's cooked. The management has a difficult time counting unfortunately. When we received our order through the drive-thru we decided to... make sure everything was in the bag before we left. We noticed we had one fewer sandwiches than we ordered. Mistakes happen. Wetold the young lady at the window we needed another sandwich. When the thin woman dressed in grey overheard she immediatelydisputed the mistake but relented when they drive-thru "Time" was becoming in issue. I placed an online order and set it to pickup inside. The lobby was closed it wasn't even 7pm. I made another order in drive... thru after a long wait. I git home to find out I was missing 1 side. My chicken was barely warm and looked like it had beenready for awhile. I was also missing both orders of popcorn shrimp that I had ordered after the online order I waited so long topickup. Very poor service. Ordered a 2 piece platter. Waited for 10 minutes to be told they didn't have the pieces I ordered in... traditional recipe and offered it in spicy. After another considerable wait I was told there was none available in spicy and itwould be another 20 minute wait. I settled for them to substitute it for chicken strips. I was presented about three tiny kidsmeal size strips. I was going to attempt to return them but the entire staff was to busy with loud bickering arguments at thecounter with another employee who was causing drama. Noticed other drive through patrons coming in to get their orders redone asthey received the wrong orders. The atmosphere was terrible. There was plenty of staff , but most seemed focused on doingeverything but their job. I won't be returning. Read more
