I tried this restaurant for the first time with takeout. The staff seemed very busy, as it was a lunch rush. The food was... well-made and unique... I've never had homemade coleslaw like that. The fish and tartar sauce were good. The sweet potato wedgeswere pretty good, although the skin was tough. The tea was so delicious - probably my favorite part. Everything had my name onit and I felt valued. The only issue I suppose is that the workers who come in no longer get a small discount... but smallbusinesses suffered a lot during Covid-19. Oh well. Service is frustrating. When you walk it takes servers about 10 minutes to acknowledge you and get you seated. Took another 10... minutes to get menus. We ordered eggs and pancakes and it took an hour to get our food. Watched multiple people who were behindus get their breakfast first and coffee refills while we were ignored. When our breakfast came it was cold like nobody botheredto bring us our food which should have been out 20 minutes at the most??? Now we’re seating here waiting for the check assevers walk past and ignore us. Finally Charging us full price for a wait and breakfast that was not worth it???? Absolute joke Read more
Great food. The pancakes were the best on the trip through New England. The eggs were even cooked to order. A rarity even in... home town restaurants. Mine was over medium ( I was expecting overhard but they actually were over medium.) Ordered online for pickup during the week. Good quality breakfast that we all enjoyed. The Lemon ricotta pancakes had a nice... flavor, ordered three but they were big enough that 2 would have been enough. Everything was really flavorful and presentednicely. Next time we'll try dining in. Read more
