I never post reviews ask understand things happen but Second time here Same issue both times. Food is great but when you... order all you can eat sushi the take forever to bring it out in the hopes you won’t order more. I've been searching for a solid all-you-can-eat sushi place in this area for a while. Don't let its unassuming exterior... dissuade you, Ichiban surprises where it counts. The interior is modern and clean, the service is pleasant and friendly, andthe sushi is fresh. The prices are fair for all-you-can-eat, and they have a wide selection of hot dishes as well. World-renowned exotic sushi this is not, nor does it claim to be. However, sometimes nothing beats a tempura battered deepfried roll of deliciousness slathered in spicy mayo and eel sauce. I had high hopes for this place based on the high star reviews. I opted for the sushi roll 3 roll special and sashimi. I... don’t know if they give you a lesser quality roll because it’s a three roll special, but that seemed like the case here. Therolls were small and tasted old. The sashimi was still frozen. Look I don’t expect salmon right out of the ocean, but I alsodon’t expect my sashimi to be frozen still. I also got a tray of chicken lo mein. I don’t know what it was but it wasn’tlo mein. It was worse than bland noodles. Zero flavor what so ever. Avoid the lo mein at all costs. Avoid any rolls with mangoin it at all costs. Very disappointing meal considering the reviews it has. This my second time eating at this place, from the outside you may think it is an average place. But when you get in you will... find a nice restaurant with high quality Japanese Cuisine and variety of options as well. The food is awesome, the service isimpacable really first class. I also drink some hot sake. This the pure authentic Rice Sake from Japan.. On top of all that theprice is crazy low 2 people can eat drink jus, soda and liquor and you will pay under $70. No one can beat that in New York. Ihighly recommend this restaurant for all purpose cooporate meeting, brunch, lung and Hangout with friends. this used to be my mom and i weekly sushi spot, we would come here once a week, maybe even twice, but the last maybe 4 times we... came here the sushi quality has dropped tremendously. As well as the service quality dropping. I shouldn’t be asking multipletimes for something when we’re the only table in there. Nor should i have to take the plates from the waitress and put them onthe table myself and hand them to her when we’re done too because she doesn’t want to walk to the side of the table.
