Great seafood. I love their clams and mussels. Always all alive and pretty clean! Support local!!!
We really wanted to like this place because we've heard the food was good and the prices reasonable, but the service was so... awful. First, their website says nothing about the restaurant being open "only on special days." Google says it is availablefor dine-in and the hours listed say every day but Tuesday, and their actual website says nothing different. You don't find outuntil you get there and see a sign on their door that says dine-in is reservation only and only on "certain days," but doesn'tclarify which days. We walked in and the man (assuming the owner?) asked if we were picking up or dining in, and my husband saidwe would like to dine in if that was available. The man just laughed at us condescendingly and said that the restaurant was notopen for dine in. We knew this was a possibility and planned to still patron the place with take out, but then he berated mefor sitting my 1-year-old down on a chair while trying to get my wallet out of my purse. (Apparently it was a seat used for thebar...that was closed none the less.) Maybe this guy was having a bad day, but there was no common sense of courtesy orhospitality. We left without ordering anything. It's a shame because we are not tourists and regularly frequent therestaurants on rt. 1, but we will not be returning to this place no matter how cheap the seafood is, and we will be making sureto tell our friends who visit as well to avoid it. Will not ever be back! Took over an hour to get food. Crab cakes were not done. Potatoes were hard. Soup was barely warm. Clams... were over cooked. Grilled cheese and French fries were burnt. Waitress was rude and unfriendly!! Read more
