Well the food was good. However the guy working the cash register was rude and abrasive. I waited patiently to pay for my food... until he came over to the register. He then asked what I wanted and I said "to pay". To which he rudely barked "for what? "while the slip with my order written on it was laying on the counter right next to him. I suggested he look at my slip but herefused and insisted I tell him everything I ordered. Then he was impatient with me while I tried to recite my whole order tohim. They had cheese and Margherita slices when I rolled in late around 8pm. I had them add some pepperoni to the cheese and they... popped them in the oven in typical New York fashion. The slices where good, hit the spot. Need to come mid day when they havemore slices or just order a pizza Read more
Love Tonino's food... Once they get it right for once. Ate inside for the first time in a while and they made the wrong entree... for one person in the party and never brought out a simple single slice of pizza for an hour after the rest of the table gottheir food. All they said was sorry and that was it after they gave attitude about them being in the wrong. Just ordered pizzaabout two months after this interaction and they gave us one completely wrong pie (which was way cheaper than the one we paidfor) and one that didn't have the extra $8 of toppings. Awful experience. We ordered two pizzas. The hot honey chicken, which was amazing. Then we ordered the margarita pizza. What we... got, I didn?t even recognize. Cubed tomatoes from the grocery store that were raw on top of an already cooked pizza that hadchunks of mozzarella thrown on it. No basil. It had some dried sprinkling of oregano. It was literally the worst pizza I haveever ordered from a non-chain restaurant. I?m not a picky eater, and never return food. I asked them politely to please make usanother pizza, which they told me I would have to pay for. I told them this didn?t even resemble the description of the pizza ora margarita pizza that I have ever seen. They didn?t care. I asked him to point out the basil that was in the description. Hebrought me some bruised up nasty basil to toss on the top of this gross pizza. It wasn?t even on the pizza before. I won?t beback to this place. Please note that the photo I added below has no sauce, and was $20!! The hot honey chicken was $19.50. Thatwas worth it. What I got in the margarita pizza was not worth it for even a moment. Pros Seemed clean Food was reasonably priced Typical Italian restaurant selection Food was good Staff was nice Cons Messed up... one order I tried several slices a panini, wrap and sub.
