I personally discovered Blackwell's in downtown Lewisburg, WV a few years ago. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted... with a friendly smile and I could smell the pizza dough baking.???? By far my favorite Tiramisu I have ever tasted! This is amust visit! ???????????? Read more
A small place, with a small staff, but the food is excellent, the service is friendly and the wait time is just as good as any... other busy restaurant. The four of us agreed that each of our dishes were the best we had eaten in quite some time. Interestingly, their walls are lined with with the work of local artists for sale, and many of the pieces are of very highquality. I'd give them six stars if I could. A negative review regarding this establishment during the height of a pandemic,when they are unable to hire adequate staff and many other places are closed, says more about the reviewer than the restaurant. Blackwell's is 100% my favorite place to eat in all of Lewisburg. I honestly wish I could give them more than 5 stars!! I order... from here about once a week and every time, I am reminded of just how wonderful a place it is to dine. The staff are alwaysfriendly and the food is always fresh. My favorite menu item is definitely the turkey wrap (that mango dressing is TO DIE FOR!!)and the best dessert I've had (though, mind you, they've all been fantastic) is their lemon bars.
