This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Nobody else comes close. The staff is very friendly and helpful. At... least one of the owners (I'm not sure, but he seems like the owner) is visibly involved and friendly. This place is greatwhether you enjoy authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex options. I've tried quite a few of the competing restaurants in Flower Mound andLewisville, but Martinez is the tastiest and most consistent. This place is the best! Great authentic food just like my mom makes, you can't find that in most Mexican restaurants! For all... my spicy loving people, you have to try their red salsa, you'll be crying in minutes! My favorite items are they steak and eggs,California fries and Camarones a la diabla. Update - we went again this week and were again super pleased with the food and service! One of the owners was there at the... counter greeting folks as they came in. When we got there I mentioned I had to look at my review and he said "Oh, was that youthat left one about 2 months ago?". We talked a little about that and then he suggested two new dishes for us. We had theEnchiladas Potosinas and fish plate. We, again, were not disappointed!! Great flavors and incredibly fresh. This spot can besuper busy, but well worth the trip. Such amazing food and incredibly nice people. Thank you again!! We were looking for a newspot for Mexican food, so we tried Martinez Grill & Taqueria. Wow, are we glad we did! Food was delicious and everyone workingthere was so nice! We had the chimichanga, fried fish tacos, monterrey chicken, and churros. Everything tasted super fresh, andflavor profiles were spot on.
