This was our first time visiting here. We went after Scarefest. The server Angela was friendly enough, but when I explained to... her I didn't get the garlic toast, which was supposed to be included with my platter. She replied, "Oh, they didn't put it inthe window." Walked off and never brought it to me. The food tasted good, but I feel if I paid for it, I should have got it. Read more
One of our favorite restaurants! We love the food, but most of all we come for the service. My parents live in Tennessee, but... they pass through Lexington a lot. And when they do, they HAVE to stop at Frisch's. Today, my mom said, "The food here is alwaysgood, but the best thing is the relationship." Jeanne is always their server, and she really is great. The restaurant was clean, our server was great and took good care of us, and the food came out fast and hot. I have eaten here a... couple of times in the past, but it has always been for the endless breakfast buffet, which I recommend trying out if you?venever had it. This time I came to try out the Big Boy burger. I have heard so many people say that it is one of the best burgersaround, so I had to see for myself. The burger was huge and reminded me a lot of a Big Mac in the style that it was made. Thedifference was that you could tell that they used higher quality meat and instead of special sauce, they used tartar sauce. Iwas not a fan of the tartar sauce on a burger, but I know lots of people love it. Came in with my aunt, who?s special needs. They treated her like Royalty. Our server was super with her, she was patient and... kind. The salad bar looked amazing! We dropped in at around noon. I didn?t add the salad bar to my order but my aunt did, and ohmy, her salad was everything!!! We ordered burgers and fries.
