Took my father-in-law for dinner on Wednesday 19-OCT. The hostess asked us if we had reservations, as they had a special live... jazz music event that evening. We did not, but she worked to fit us in and seated us quickly. The staff was attentive andfriendly, the food is excellent (lumpia appetizer, Thai peanut pizza, and the Asian dip sandwich), and the music was goodtoo! We are definitely planning to come back! This was my first time back since pre-pandemic. I tried the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was really good! This isn't... something I have had elsewhere very often so I don't have much to compare it to, but the portion size was great and the flavorsof the sauce, slaw, and pickles worked very well together. It wasn't very spicy, but I don't know if I would want it to be anydifferent. My daughter got the kid's cheese pizza which was served with fries, and wife got the hot brown pizza which is whatshe used to get years ago and found it to be just as good as always. Read more
Tonight was the first time we’ve been back since they renovated and switched owners. Unfortunately we left after five minutes... of reviewing their new menu and I doubt we will return. The changes to the menu are significant, such as removing the mac andcheese appetizer and the chocolate fondue dessert. I hope this restaurant is able to keep their patrons coming back; however, Ifeel like their future could potentially be in jeopardy since many of my friends and family went here because of the disheslisted above. It's been several months since we last visited. We have frequented all three locations in the past. We specifically choose... Saul Good because we can get pizza with a gluten free crust. Unfortunately, tonight we were told that they only had left overgluten free crust that had been left out and was moldy. The new menu showed a gluten free option for buns but not for pizza. Then we found out that it was Trivia Night. That would have been OK except the music and MC was so loud that we couldn't have aconversation. The menu had also changed. No longer did they offer 6th St steak & beer cheese nachos. Nor did they offer theexcellent Cajun and Chicken Pasta. They had a Shrimp version instead. Apparently, the owner has decided that instead of having arestaurant with a bar they would have a pub with a restaurant. Hence the pub games. I wish them luck. We probably won't beback. Read more
