The outside of the restaurant made me a tad uneasy as a first impression, but man was I WRONG. We felt so welcomed and the food... was beyond amazing. I can confidently say it was the best soul food I?ve ever had, and I?ve had ALOT. The pinto beans were crazygood, the Mac and cheese was PERFECT and the fried chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I stopped in here because my son was hungry after getting off from work. It was around 3:30 pm and it wasn't busy. Waitress... Jamey greeted us and told us to sit anywhere. She was attentive and very pleasant. The restaurant appeared clean. We orderedfried chicken and waffle, fried chicken entree with 2 sides and Buffalo flavored wingettes. My son devoured is chicken andwaffle and added an order of hush puppies. I had a glass of wine with my meal. We both enjoyed our meals. The wings were big,crunchy, and flavorful.
