We happened upon The Georges while traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway and wow ? it ended up being one of my favorite places I?ve... stayed! The lobby bar and restaurant, Taps, was delicious and so accommodating even with our 9:15 pm arrival. The complimentarybreakfast in the morning was also very nice. But the room was my favorite part!! Spotless and stunning, with so many uniquetouches like the cowhide bed frame, very comfortable bed, and even a white noise machine. Our room was large and spotless! The shower had the best pressure and the towels and robes were really nice. Everyone that... worked there was incredibly nice and the made to order breakfast in the morning was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay andgetting drinks at the Haywood which had a piano player. The only minor downside was that there was no coffee in the room or minifridge?but they had an iPhone charger on the alarm clock which was awesome! We would highly recommend this place to others.
