I made a phone order for pickup for dinner. The lady who answered the phone had a pleasant attitude and was helpful with placing... my order. The lady who greeted my s.o. when picking up the food was also pleasant. The food, however, was not great. I orderedthe citrus marinated fried chicken that came with a black bean succotash and cabbage and I ordered smoked mac and cheese. Thesides were just ok, too much vinegar on the cabbage. Some areas of the chicken breast were very tough and I had a difficult timecutting with my flatware (should of used the cutco knives). Next time, I will try something else. Read more
Three blind mice is a locally owned and operated restaurant that serves not only as a wine bar and store but full service... restaurant. When my family and friends come to town this is the locals place I take them to for lunch or dinner. Although theirmenu may not be as robust as chain restaurants their farm to table and locally sourced ingredients that they can source havefresh flavors. The restaurant has had some changes in chefs so if you have given them a try and weren?t impressed I wouldsuggest you give them another chance. Two of my best friends and I dined here for my birthday and all of our food was deliciousbut I still can?t stop thinking about my swordfish. It literally swims through my dreams. It was one of the best swordfishdishes I have ever had. The fish was cooked perfectly and the seasoning and sauce kept it light unlike the heavy fish it cantend to be. But light bright and full of flavor. My friends couldn?t believe I loved it so much. The were layers of flavors thatwould have otherwise been hidden with less skilled chef?s dishes. This is a locals spot and for good reason. They have a greatbar with a intriguing cocktail menu and food that impresses. With live music on weekends they create a cozy but upscaleenvironment. We went as a family plus a friend of my granddaughter. My son made a reservation and the table was ready when we walked in. The... waitress was so very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Four in our party had hamburgers and they looked so very delicious.Two of us had shrimp and grits so very good. We asked and they have a brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
