The mission of this place is amazing and the food matches. Sitting down for lunch in the courtyard/fountain area can't be beat.... They'll give meals, water, and snacks to anyone who needs it and really take care of Lincoln's often hidden poverty. Just knoweach meal you get here feeds you and others. Read more

I don't know what happened. I ordered just a chicken salad sandwich, just the sandwich, and I tipped 15%. $7.52 was my total. I... received the worst chicken salad sandwich I have ever had. The driest bread with a small scoop of dry, tasteless chicken. Thismakes me sad because it's located in such a beautiful location. The courtyard is amazing and so is the shade during the hotmonths. I could have bought a pound of hamburger and a loaf of bread for under $7.52. I have to admit that I threw most of thisaway, I just couldn't eat it. The nice thing though is that this can be easily fixed, it's chicken salad, its not hard. Iapologize if this is negative because these are very nice people, but this could be so much better. The city and customersdeserve much better. It is my hopes that this is taken as encouragement and not criticism. Read more
