I was excited to try Nevería for the first time tonight. The food was delicious, but I didnt appreciate being racially... profiled. I went in with a friend and we both ordered tacos. The only difference in how we ordered was they ordered in Spanishand I in English. Nothing else. Their tacos came out normal with cilantro, onions, and limes while mine came out Americanizedwith lettuce, tomato, and shredded cheese. I'd always come here because it's a great food, desert and friendly service.
Great spot for a quick bite, authentic elote en baso. (Corn in a cup) it was delicious and savory. It was still warm even after... I worked on my car, and the orchata was to die for as well. Next time ima have to try a bionico. Just know they are busy rightbefore closing, always, so be ready to wait a little bit but the wait is well worth it. Not too expensive for the portionseither.
