PLACES LIKE THIS, were a new concept when I moved here from the west coast. Small family owned restaurants dot Michigan like... Christmas lights and what differentiates Kayla and her husbands [new owners] is their leadership and the sense of community thatthey supports along with the menu with its quality ingredients. It's a place where there are regulars and where you get a warmwelcome from Missy who provides great service and when it's not to busy will stop to chat and let you borrow her phone charger.It's a place for a hot cup of Joe and a hot breakfast cooked to perfection on a cold winter morning. Luscious poached eggs ontop of crispy breakfast potatoes, onions, cheese and peppers are my way to start the day.
