This place is awesome. I tried Gill?s Bobotie, South Africa's national dish, and it was amazing. My husband had Pad Thai with... shrimp. He said it was the best he's had. I'm so glad we tried something new. The service was pretty good for how busy thekitchen staff were. Read more
Great little restaurant, cute dimly lit interior with shady picnic benches available outside on the main road and side of the... building. Came here for a little mid work-week lunch. The Medeteranian platter is an excellent portion for the price and eachitem included tastes great! The smoked brisket poutine was also EXCELLENT! Getting into the nitty gritty of the poutine: thefries were delicious, meat was incredibly tender. The gravy very rich which usually I prefer a lighter gravy but with thebrisket was the perfect combination. There may have been a little bit too much gravy on the poutine as it overpowered the tasteof the fries and many towards the bottom were starting to get fairly soggy. The portion is very large, could easily feed twowhich contributed to that factor as well as it took me longer to make it through the dish. The mozzarella cheese was tasty butunassuming, swapping it out for curds would bring it up to 9-9.5/10. Overall due to the shredded cheese and just a bit too muchgravy I'd give it a 7.5/10. Flavours of different cuisines all in one place. As skeptical as we were when we came to dine here, my god did it taste... delicious. One issue we had was that it took a really long time for the dishes to arrive, but despite the sleepiness and hunger,it somehow was worth it.
