Visiting the town and looking for a decent kbbq, but really disappointed with the service, really rude and had almost no... service. No water refills, wait 15 min for beer, rolling eyes on us, I?ll say try to stay away from here if you are looking forany kind of service, and tip already included in the bill I guess that's who they don't care. Very poor service, which was slow and unattentive. The quality of pork belly was thin, so by the time it was cooked, it was... like thin bacon. The bulgogi beef did not look like fresh meat. It was marinated. But, I could see some slices of meat weredark and other slices look reddish fresh. (A comparison / recommendation for quality pork belly would be at Pro Samgyubsal inGlenview). It's been about 10 years since I've been here at Seocho Garden in Lisle. I don't know if it's the same owner but the lady server... is still not too friendly but the guy server is still nice so nothing has really changed. That's why I took away 1 star. But itdoesn't really stop me from coming because the food is still yummy. It is a $40 per person all you can eat Korean BBQ withplenty of delicious side dishes and meats to choose from. You can also have 1 noodle per person and my girlfriend picked theirspicy cold buckwheat noodle and she said it was delicious and my cold buckwheat noodle was amazing! The broth was soooo good! Iknow you would say why would you eat noodles at an AYCE buffet but I have been CRAVING some cold noodles and it was chewy anddelicious and just amazing! They didn't have lettuce which I was a little disappointed so we wrap our meat in it but the guyserver compensated us with spicy scallion instead and that was just as good. Is it expensive? I really don't think so if you caneat bc nowadays you can't leave a restaurant for 2 without spending over $100. We had 6 meat dishes and 2 shrimp dishes on topof cold noodles and Korean pancake and beer!!! We definitely ate wayyyyyy too much but our bellies was full and our hearts washappy. Read more
