I will start with the pros of our experience and then the cons. Staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We ordered the... pasta dish the bacon and vodka sauce, came with side salad, the mushroom caps with marinara sauce as a starter, my husbandordered a burger and fries. The mushrooms were greasy and still frozen/ cold in the centre, the salad was really fresh servedwith store bought Greek dressing was hoping for a home made greek dressing- not difficult to make. My husband enjoyed the burgerand fries and would recommend it, my pasta was chock full of bacon unfortunately the bacon was hardly cooked, so picked it allout, the sauce was supposed to be the classing vodka sauce, so so it was more of a marinara sauce, the same sauce that came withthe undercooked mushroom caps, it was tasty but was really hoping to experience a classic vodka sauce. Would we go back, no wewould not, had the food been as expected then we would. The prices are very high considering the quality. Staff was great! Foodwas lacking. Read more

Service was good, but the grilled whitefish was bland. The mashed potatoes were very dry and lacking any flavour at all. I had... to heavily salt everything on my plate (I usually stay away from salt, but I wanted to make it palatable). Disappointed for theprice. Good location though, will visit again, as we've had some decent meals there in previous years. Read more

It took over 35 minutes to get our food. One of us ordered the special and the other a burger and fries, nothing complicated and... even though they were busy shouldn't have taken that long. The waitress basically ignored us the whole time we waited, no updateor offer for water refills, etc. We were seriously thinking of leaving when she happened to say it would be just another fewminutes. The burger was just okay, the fries were good but not even hot considering the long wait. The special was advertised tobe a hot pork sandwich and ended up being open faced, pork and grave on one slice of store boughtwhite bread. They charged forgravy for the mashed potatoes which was a surprise as they kind of go together, and gravy typically comes on a sandwich likethat. It was the only restaurant we noticed, but after this experience we will wait until the next town. In response to yourreply. The whole world being understaffed is a poor excuse. We're aware of the pandemic. It leaves a bad impression that yourreply is excuses, but regardless we were just passing through so will not return just out of sheer distance. You had plenty ofstaff so much that a teenage boy filled already full salt shakers and ran around like crazy and was otherwise bossed around bythe inattentive waitress. All we wanted was to be kept in the loop about when it would be ready, maybe an offer for more wateror heck even a smile, and maybe for everything to be hot once it arrived. Read more
