Located on a cute little curve in the road on the Blue Ridge Parkway. While I wouldn't make the drive just for this place, it's... worth a stop. It's got a chill vibe, my waitress was friendly, they take cards, and the food is good. I ordered the pimentocheese appetizer and the salmon salad. The appetizer was a good size portion for $8 and came with celery and toasted breadrounds. The salad came loaded with the most salmon I've ever seen on a salad and was an absolute steal for just over$10. They've got biodegradable straws - not the paper ones that disintegrate - real biodegradable straws. They don't havewifi, which is a bummer since I didn't have a signal in this one tiny bit of NC - spoiler: I survived. There's limited parkingin front of the restaurant itself but folks park on the side of the road just beyond. The restrooms were clean and cute, therestaurant was clean and airy, though sticky from the dreadful humidity. We stopped and ate lunch here. We got the BBQ platter which had meat, baked beans, cole slaw, pickle, and cornbread. It was so... tasty. Every bit of it was. Our waitress was so good. This was a delicious lunch! We had the deviled eggs, a fire-roasted veggie sandwich, and the quiche of the day. The veggies... were fresh, well-seasoned, and well cooked, and the quiche was tasty. If I could give this place an extra star I would. What a delightful little place. Service from all the staff was spot on, they... were very attentive and fun. The food was awesome and the potato salad was the best I've ever had. This place is a little gemfor those traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway and I would recommend you pop on in to try it out.
