I traveled from Kansas and researched many bakeries. The experience from the research to picking up and eating the dessert I... ordered was impeccable! They made the most delicious gluten free German chocolate cake my family has had other than the one Imake. It was fresh, moist, and tasty. I also bought some other goodies while I picked up my custom order and everything Ibrought back to my family was enjoyed! The staff was super cheerful and happy to answer any questions I had. I love supporting local businesses as I own one, so when I'm looking for a place to eat I want to try the local fare. While in... this neighborhood, I found this family owned bakery and deli! Two of my favorite things - sandwiches and baked goods! Theirbread is baked in house and is also sold in loaves. I had the tuna sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, purple onions, andbanana pepper. As you can see, it was a worthy dagwood and was as delicious as it looks. The choices for baked goods are many.They have everything from cookies and cakes to turnovers and pies. Yum. I got two peanut butter cookies and two ginger snap, oneof my favs that are hard to find. They didn't disappoint. The ginger cookies are some of the best, if not the best, I've everhad; large, thick, meaty, and chewy. So good. What amazing service and a wonderful cake! I called with a tall order- I wanted a cake to find the gender of my baby but I... wanted it that day, with one hour until closing. Not only did they make that work, but I got a beautiful and truly deliciouscake.
