It's hard to give Pasquini's less than a five on everything as it's a pretty good ,upgraded food experience from a lot of places... and the staff is great, the local history is a good story. The building is nice amd original but the Acoustics is horrible. It's always very loud in there and I really can't say why. It has booths and we were in one this time in the corner and it wasvery early and quiet but as dinner time comes on and the place filled up it just got louder and louder but I'm probably toosensitive to noise. Anyhoo it's a great local eatery, please stop by and try the steak Johns or the Mac and cheese because itnot like the one your mother makes. Read more

Had a Birthday dinner here Saturday. Food was wonderful, try the Steak John Medallions. You won't be disappointed. Calamari and... Scampi are tasty also. Loved the house salad because of the creamy Italian dressing. Staff is very friendly and handle the crowdwith ease. Make your reservation and enjoy a great dining experience. Read more

Great food, drinks and service. The fillet mignon was "melt in your mouth" tender and cooked to perfection. Best margaritas... with choice of your favorite tequila. Sitting is available by reservation only, but easy to do that online. They have bothindoor and outdoor sitting to choose from. A bit out of the way, but worth the drive. Read more

I went on a whim for Wednesday night prime rib. Cassidy was prompt, friendly, courteous and welcoming. Also, the hostess was... very pleasant, the prime rib was juicy and flavorful. Mashed potatoes perfect consistency and not over salted. Tiramisu wasphenomenal. My husband had the ribeye and it was so good!!! Green beans cooked to perfection. Also had farro minestrone andGorgonzola house salad. Wonderful dining experience! Highly recommend! The owner even thanked us for coming with sincerity.Pasquinis is a diamond! Thank you for a fabulous dinner! Read more

We found a hidden gem! I can't believe I had never heard about this restaurant before! Some friends of ours told us about it so... we decided to go with them to try it out. Hidden outside of Live Oak, California is a small Italian restaurant, literallylocated in the middle of no where. We drove up and the parking lot was packed. Usually a good sign for a restaurant, but sincethis is the only one in the area, you never know. The story about the restaurant is fascinating. Each generation of the familyhad used the building for different purposes. It was a gas station and family home in the 1920s. It apparently had some use tostore alcohol during prohibition. It later became a kind of convience store, then a sandwich shop, and in the 1970s the familyhome was transformed into a restaurant. The restaurant has a great atmosphere! The food was absolutely amazing! Best Italianfood I have had in a long time! You can't go wrong with the prawns, crab cakes, and clam chowder to start. Portion sizes aregood for the price. The service was also amazing! One cool thing about this restaurant is that they have a "farm to fork"connection. They grow their own herbs, make their own olive oil, and more to give you fresh ingredients. We ended our meal withamazing desserts. The lemon cake was absolutely amazing, as was the mud pie, and chocolate torte. If you are in the area and youhaven't gone, you need to! Make sure you make a reservation! This place is always packed and for good reason! I don't usuallygive out five stars for much, but this restaurant definitely deserves it! Read more
