The waitress wasn't friendly and I ordered eggs over medium and said I wanted the yellow runny, the eggs were fried so hard I... couldn't cut them with a fork or a knife and could barely chew them and the yellow was hard. The grits were runny. No butter forthe grits or biscuits. The meat had a weird taste and not edible. Tea is hard to mess up but their tea sucked and had an aftertaste that was unpalatable so I stopped the waitress to ask for coffee and she acted like I wasn't supposed to talk to her, Iasked for coffee and it was barely warm. My husband and I were ready to leave and he asked for the ticket and the waitressdecided she would stop at every table to visit before getting the ticket and bringing it back. The Dixie Grill is a local tradition for great southrn eats. Not the healthiest, but very tasty and nostalgic of places visited... when I was growing up in Southern Virginia.
