I?ve only done takeout from these folks, but the staff I?ve interacted with have been very friendly, and the quality of the... pizza is seriously tasty. The flavor of the crust is lovely. The texture of the crust is stellar. Crunchy on the perimeter, delightfully chewy in the middle. Beautifully balanced. The sausage on my pizza was plentiful, flavorful and in chunks ratherthan ?sausage dust? hidden under the cheese like I?ve had from other local pizza places. This place is worth your time, moneyand attention. Read more

Has some of the best Italian food around disguised as a strip mall pizza place. My wife, child and I went here for dinner. All... the food is made fresh to order. The Alfredo sauce was top notch, bread sticks fresh out of the oven, everything was delicious. Our waitress, I believe Alexis is her name was amazing. She was bringing things out and make suggestions of things I wantedbefore I even thought of them. She was extremely pleasant and one of the few people that you can tell that actually enjoy whatthey do. Everything about our experience was fantastic and will definitely continue coming back. I found out about this place from a news article and it was very hyped up as an authentic Italian pizzeria and they specifically... mentioned how good the meatballs were in the article. I am tempted to rate this pizza shop lower because of how far it was offfrom the hype. I am a pizza freak and I am unbiased in my pizza reviews, I own a pizza shop as well. We called and ordered alarge pizza for $18 and an order of 2 meatballs which was $12.50 which was a shock, very expensive for meatballs. The meatballswere good meatballs but I wouldn?t order them again and Antonio?s Pizza right down the road in Bayberry plaza has much betterones, I think about Antonio?s balls a few times a week. These meatballs from Il Lamone were very dense, they use a lot ofbreadcrumb and a very finely ground beef. The sauce seems to be made in house and is phenomenal and the meatballs came with alittle bit of ricotta on the side. The pizza was very thin and hand stretched. It was a good crust but our pizza was undercooked, the crust was gray, and the cheese wasn?t melted very much. They use the same sauce on the pizza as they use in theirpasta and on their meatballs. Like I said, it is a really good sauce but it seems out of place on the pizza. The sauce is moretangy and it?s powerful, it seemed to overpower the rest of the ingredients. Overall I would be happy if this was the onlyplace to get pizza, they do a good job but the pizza being under cooked and the meatballs costing so much for so little was aturn off. Antonio?s pizza in bayberry plaza does a very good job, they seem to be inconsistent with their dough and thethickness so both places have their downfalls. Read more
