This restaurant is in a new building and consists of one large room, nicely decorated, with two bars, booths and tables. What we... did not know before we went is that this is a sports bar and that is Sports with a capital "S". There were at least two TVsshowing athletic games, fairly typical, but the soundtrack for one game was broadcast throughout the restaurant at a very loudvolume. On the way out we experienced speakers even in the bathrooms. Seeking a little peace and quiet we went out onto thepatio only to discover the TV sound blasting even there. Since we could not see the game even if we wanted to, the boomingspeakers were nothing but noise. On the map you observe the location is between two bodies of water but these are barely visiblewhen seated on the patio; there is a conspicuous busy street next to the patio. To access the draft beer menu it is necessaryto use a QR code - this is something I always find annoying. When you do get to the draft beer menu there are no prices - nowthis is someting I really hate. There is no way to preview your bill before paying. The server comes with a portable credit cardreader which displays only the total, and printed receipts are not available. When we got home and looked at our receiptreceived via text we discovered we had been charged a surcharge for using a credit card. I'm sorry but this is just not my kindof place. When I have been there in the past the food was good and sitting outside by the water is so nice. This evening I went there with... my mom, not many people were there which was great. Sat down and felt bugs biting my ankles. I noticed there were French friesall over the ground under the table. That should have been swept up prior to the next sitting. My mother order fish n chips. Thebatter was thick, hard greasy and burnt. The French fries were thick cut, cold inside with paprika or some unusual coating. Myhamburger was greasy, and had way too many sautéed onions on it and the string fries were hard and cold. If the place had beenbusy I would be a little more forgiving. The beer was the only thing that tasted good. We left there hungry and felt bad becausewe had just wasted over $60. Read more
Wouldn’t recommend. Place was really dirty- food all on the flood. Unseasoned chicken. The food was served on soaking wet... wooden boards (Idk how you would sanitize that). Music only from 2014 or earlier. Inattentive waiters. Additionally there was awet food ticket stuck to the bottom of my burger. The only good thing was the fries. Read more
