The best fish & chips ever. We came to visit after moving away years ago, and it is still fantastic. The fish & chips and hush... puppies are all outstanding. We were so impressed considering we pay much more for seafood in the area, yet this is so good. Wewill be back! Read more

Gordon Ramsay, but I even had it at your pub in Vegas and the batter was heavy and way too greasy. At Alfie?s I ordered fish andchips and fried vegetables. The batter on everything just melts in your mouth, not thick and greasy. The fish was light anddelicate, not chewy. Alrighty then. Business brought me from the east coast to central coastal California today. Lompoc is the city I am in and I... will tell you folks back in Florida, I flew here in 4:50 minutes from JAX to LAX and then it took me 5 hours to drive 148 miles.Not a wreck in sight. I am never going to complain again about a rubber necker back home again.???? I Googled the bestrestaurants in Lompoc and Alfie?s is rated at 4.5???????? It should be 5 ???s First, you must have the fish, it will make youfeel like your in old London or in New England and please take my word for it and try the ?Cucumber Wasabi Coleslaw ? I?ve hadcoleslaw all over the country and their twist on it was remarkable. Hey, the Hush Puppies are a light corn meal with no onionsand were excellent.????
