Worth the stop! Right away we were greated by a Gentleman that you could tell enjoyed what he was doing. With not being there... before he gave us a run down of the menu and didn't rush us to decide what we wanted. We got the 3 meat (Chicken, Brisket andMeatloaf) platter and shared it. The meat was so tender! We got The Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans and Apples it was all delicious.We also got the Nachos to try and they were good. Everything we had was on point! This was my second trip to Durham?s with a long stretch in between visit. May have been over a year since last trip. Seems... like they were just getting things up and running and had not been open in that spot very long. That said, I had forgotten howgood the Q was. Had the Brisket basket today with beans. The Brisket is fantastic. The setup is like a Texas Q joint whereyou order at a cafeteria style window (think Chipotle line). They do have a decent size dine in area but it?s an easy in andout if you are eating on the run. I?ll be back soon to try the Pulled Pork and Ribs. Not to mention the Smoked Sausage. Theyalso had a sign they had just put up on the window that said ?Smoked Queso.? Sounds fantastic. I could have ordered everythingon the menu today but will just have to break it down into a few items per trip. Looking forward to next visit.
