Was literally starving stranded downtown and went here and when I asked for double the Tuna I got an evil look from the Sandwich Artist and before he wrapped the Sub he hid it from my vision and a minute later started to wrap it. There were really sketchy people there so I ate my sub walking on the sidewalk as it fell all over my hands. When I made it home 5 hours later I threw up in the sink only to find the Sandwich Artist had put a long piece of plastic used to attach a clothing price tag in my sub and with it I threw up my medication. This is not the first occassion I have thrown up food from there 5 hours later. On another occassion I got home 5 hours after eating there and I had not digested any of the food from there it was all thrown up at home 5 hours later. Will not willingly eat there again.
The subs here are of very mixed quality it seems as thought the staff are specialized in certain sandwiches and area little clumsy with others. Mixed feelings my advice would be to ask the staff what their favourite is.
It was one of my favorite place to eat lunch. So friendly staff. They remember what I order ( I will stand in que, at my turn, my will be prepared automatically). The awesome thing, that the guy who prepare bread, will change his gloves (food serving) before to prepare my order. He is awesome.....
Service is always slow, sometimes they won't even come out to take your order. Might as well go to Crabby Joe's next door, you'll get your food faster for the same price
It always takes almost 20 minutes to have two subs made and that's not even including the 5 minute wait while they ignore us in the back (not even calling out to them will make them come out and serve). Staff seem pretty incompatant and I don't like leaving e negative reviews but it's been the same bad service every time.
I hate giving a 1 star since I have had great experiences there in the years of going there just something to be said about standards lately. The place is not the cleanest, takes forever to order. Went in the other night waited 7 minutes for worker to come from the back as he was mumbling words makes me sub of the day turkey bacon but puts 3 pieces of turkey then vegetables..the lettuce was white light green and brownish colored but the spinach looked so freezer burnt dried out that it was best choice. Sprinkles on lettuce puts a couple shreds of red onion which was a joke then a couple cucumbers cut so thin you can see threw them. Then instead of completing my order after wrapping it, bagging it he goes and serves next customer as I stand there waiting to pay for 6 minutes then I go to pay but does not have change to break a 50 or a 20 so wants me to pay credit or debit I said no it's a business how can you not break a 20 so insists I go to store clerk at circle k and get change. I do all this come back am ignored as he decides to drop his float..while doing so I see 20s 10s and 5s..I say nothing wait wait then say you know what this customer service is disgusting you keep your sub. A sub on top of all this he charged me full price instead of the sub of the day price..which I didnt care I wanted the sub and was so annoyed with process I didnt even correct the short Indian man with glasses but after having $ to break my 20, over charging me, making me run around to get change,not having change and making me waste over 20 minutes for a disgusting quality sub at 13$ ya no thanks I may actually never eat subway again because of this experience and o worked for the company and know franchise owners which is sad but the experience was that bad.
Just walked out of this Subway I couldn't believe how disrespectful the guy working there was to this lady ordering. I was disgusted how he treated her when she was being polite by simply asking him no to call her ma'am. I could see that it was bothering her to be called that but in a very disrespectful tone kept calling her it and what made me leave was when her said to her that she should wear a name tag if she didn't want to be called ma'am. I believe his name was Russ or Russel when she asked him I don't think anyone should be treated the way he treated her and I hope she complains because he should be fired !!
This place is a basic mess just like the Mac's Convenience Store it's attached to. I've been here just for the sake of not walking any further, not for its customer service, nor its food. This place is so unorganized that if it's during off-peak hours, it would have no one ready to serve you. You basically have to bang on the metal counter to get someone. Most of the time they don't even have a good soup option (only chili which is not what I want), and THEY'VE HAD TOASTERS NOT WORKING! They don't even care that it's broken, and tell its customers to just 'accept the fact'. What?! If I ask for one of Subway's official promotion, they have no idea about it, and I've once had to wait 15 min. for a guy to just process my order because he didn't know how to use a POS system. Also, the drinks are absolutely overpriced. For less than a $1, you can get unlimited re-fills from Mac's, yet you're going to charge me like $3 for a cup? Get that sh** out of here. Don't even get me started on the absurdity of eating there - DISGUSTING, uncleaned mess. I don't know how bad a management could be to be THIS dysfunctional, and disastrous. AVOID THIS PLACE!
