I discovered this place while looking for somewhere to go while on a family vacation. I do like to plan ahead and the photos of... the vibe of this place is what made me choose it. As well as the menu. Great family deal!. Also Eggplant Parmesan which Ihaven't had for years since my husband and kids don't like it, so I don't make it for a family dinner. Tiramisu. Mmm...Thecustomer service was so great. The outside dining was beautiful especially once the sun went down and the lights came on. Thesauce was great. As far as the eggplant parmesan I probably won't order it next time even with as much as I like eggplantparmesan, this one just had too much breading for me. Everything else was great though. My husband and I'd otn drink but theydid have a wide variety of wines and beers. Fountain drinks and coffee. Parking was 2 hours max on a meter right out front.However if your visiting Aquarium of the Pacific, the Queen Mary or another attraction close by, you could just stay where yourparked like in one of the parking structures near by and just walk here. I really wanted to like this place based on all the reviews but that was the most flavorless pizza I have ever had. $30+ for a... 14 inch sausage, mushroom, and extra cheese with garlic butter dipping sauce. And I did takeout. Even the garlic butter wasbland. I love supporting local places when I travel but this has me questioning if this is just what pizza is on the westcoast? The sauce was chunky. The dough was somehow both thick and soggy/flimsy. Part of the dough wasn't fully baked. Theydidn't slice it completely so that was interesting in a hotel room without a pizza cutter. It was so greasy. I ate a couple ofslices and tried to go back later hoping it would somehow be better. Ate half a slice and threw the rest away. I suppose somepeople must like this pizza based on all the positive reviews, but then again some people like Little Caesar's. It reminded meof Pizza Hut. 2 stars because the staff was really friendly but I'd honestly choose a frozen pizza over this again, even if thefrozen pizza was also $30. Read more
