Really wanted to like lacquered, and have been wanting to try it for years. Unfortunately, I may have built up my expectations... too high. Ordered the fried chicken and the signature garlic noodle topped with grilled chicken. Although both dishes arepassable, but I was looking for much more. Fried chicken was crispy, but the meat under the crispy skin lacks seasoning/flavor. The garlic noodle is a miss, it's more like a soy sauce chow mein than garlic noodle. I expect garlic noodles to be garlicky,savory, and buttery, but it wasn't any of that. All and all, it's a decent meal that you may expect from a neighbor's kitchen. Read more
