First-rate service by lovely ladies at the bar and the dining room. Excellent martinis and chicken dishes. We did notice that... they switched to paper napkins instead of cloth but not big deal. The place is still a must if you are in Long Beach. Read more

Glad this local place was open on a Monday to celebrate a birthday dinner. The Rack of Lamb was generous, reasonably priced, and... delicious. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and attentive. Next time I won't bother ordering the antipasto plate asthe selection had too much vinegar for my taste. I'll be back even with the decor being 1960s dated and slightly worn. Perhapsthat was what made it unique and charming in its own way. Read more

Impromptu find and walked into the place asking if they did walk-ins. Was greeted with a warm welcome by several staff and sat... down instantly. Food was aweeeesome and there was even live music! When the bread came out, it was extremely soft, warm, &fresh. Trisha was our waitress for the outside patio (amazing service btw). Definitely a consideration for next time when we'reout nearby. This was my first time coming & it me of a dinner spot that I went to in the 70s as a kid. Dim lighting, low ceiling in the bar... area that smelled of a million spilled drinks & old men that all know one another & have probably been coming since the70s. Now, the food: The steak was really good. Perfectly medium rare & tender. The garlic mashed potatoes were good & theservice was great. Reasonably priced as well. Read more
