I ordered the spinach/vegetable stew with turkey, fufu, plantain and a side of jallof rice. The ladies at the counter were... polite. The spinach stew was okay however: very salty as they used smoked turkey pieces not fresh turkey meat. Prettydisappointing as the smoked turkey in the stew was not edible and tough. The fufu was smooth. The jallof rice was okay: wasexpecting more spice and flavor. A little disappointing as I was looking forward to some tasty African food given I paid $34including tip for one meal and a side of rice and no beverage. I may try the restaurant again as there are very few Aricanrestaurants near me. I\'ll be asking more questions when ordering for clarification. Read more

After visiting several other Nigerian restaurants in LA, I’ve come to the conclusion that this one in particular is extremely... overpriced for the serving size you receive! The pounded yam is always weirdly lumpy. They Americanized their soups so theydon’t have the traditional spice level and I’m not a fan of crayfish powder and did I mention the shameful portion size youget for the price? If you’re going to sell these soups for $25+ you need to use real crayfish with the powder. Add some scotchbonnet to spice it up. Get larger bowls to serve in (what you have now is a total rip off for what you charge) With theseoutrageous prices, this restaurant isn’t going to last. I understand post-covid inflation but this has doubled! I will neverpatronize greed, do the right thing and lower the price, especially if you’re going to use cheap ingredients. Make sense withyour price point and stop randomly raising your prices because I noticed it went up twice this year!!! Read more

I shake my head. Customer service isn\'t bad. The ladies who work in front are very respectful ( I appreciate that) however, if... you know that you don\'t have enough food to serve people, please don\'t waste people\'s destinies by keeping them waiting foran hour for food.\nMost Nigerian\'s have the same pattern. Lack of organization and packaging. Lastly, the food was bad. Iordered two items, and no was better than the other..\n\nI hope they improve cooking wise and serve. Read more

I\'m just going to be honest. I didn\'t like it. I had the white rice with stew. It had turkey meat and plantains on the side. I... think it costs too much for what I got and the turkey and plantains did not taste fresh to me. It could have been fresh but itjust didn\'t taste that way in my opinion. The place was clean. Customer service was ok but not great. My daughter had thejollof rice with chicken and plantains. I absolutely did not like that rice and neither did my daughter. Read more

I ordered twice from there both times not receiving what I ordered. The second time the woman over the phone said someone would... bring me my missing dish but three hours later, still did not receive it and when I called back several times they did notanswer. No one called me back as promised. I feel I should have been treated better especially since the prices are so high. Will never go back Read more
