I had the privilege of meeting the head chef-Sue. She adds her lovely Peruvian flare to her dishes. I couldn't even believe the... "grilled calamari and octopus dish" was seafood. Overall my experience here was weird. The calamari were good, and my glass of wine was yummy. But my $26 “pizza” was odd.... There weren’t any herbs to speak of, as the menu described. I was certainly expecting a base sauce. What I got was more of aflatbread. It was dry and the cost didn’t reflect the quality. I was really confused. Probably wouldn’t return based on thisentree and the entree of my companion, which was sloppily presented and also not a balanced dish. Read more
So sad that we can't get more quality restaurants in Los Altos. I'm sure this (new) restaurant wants to offer good food, but... they need a better chef and quality control for the food they send out. The salad was beyond their expiration date, with brownand soggy leafs. The spicy pasta dish wasn't presented properly, it looked like somebody tossed a bunch of left overs on aplate and the chef forgot the difference between a spoon of chili and a bucket! The lamb ribs were served in a soup of the winesauce instead of working as a complement. Overall disappointed. Hopefully they can improve. Read more
