I would give Cal Mare 10 stars if that was possible! My friend and I went there for an event in October and enjoyed food at the... bar with other friends and it was all so delicious. We then went back in February to celebrate our belated birthdays and wow,they just blew us away! We arrived to find a lovely birthday card for each of us on the table which was signed by the entirestaff. They gave us a complimentary glass of champaign to start off the celebration. We ordered so much food and were justamazed at the beautiful presentations and incredible flavors!! Our waiter Nicholas was excellent and so attentive to us. TheGeneral Manager Robert came out to say hello and happy birthdays to us. I had met him during our first visit as well and he isalways so sweet and kind. We saw friends at the bar who said they go often and raved of the wonderful, long happy hour. Therestaurant is a magnificent addition to the newly remodeled Beverly Center. There's a new entrance where you just pull up to thevalet in front of the restaurant. Prices are good, service is excellent, food is absolutely delicious and the restaurant isgorgeous - I highly recommend you go! Read more
While the food is pretty good here, it was hard to justify the price. it does have a good ambiance and the staff is great..... This place was an elegant restaurant. Waiting about 15 minutes on a busy Saturday night, which was no big deal. The food was... delicious and service was great. Prices are a little high but is expected in such a touristy spot and with a great view. I gotthe steamed clams which were amazing with garlic bread in the side.
