I can’t believe I’ve missed this gem for the last few years. Nancy Silverton delivered another home run, alongside the... MOZZA family powerhouses. I like meat, but with finesse. Well, this is it. My partner suggested chi SPACCA, and we made a funevening of it - putting the sommelier and wait staff through their paces, ordering a dish or two from each menu category andasking for “fancy bottles” from the larger wine menu not listed as typical fare. Matthew and Sean killed it. Everysuggestion of theirs was perfectly matched to our culinary whims and not a single sip or nibble was disappointing. The onlything that could have made the visit better is being part of a larger party - which we know now is a great idea. We’ll beback. Amazing experience. Everything we ate from the aged Tuna to the short rib was absolutely perfect. The appetizers/small dishes... were carefully crafted and extremely tasty with lots of interesting takes on Italian style meat dishes.
