I've been going here over 30 years and sad to say the last two times the food has been inedible. I don't know if the old... professional cooks are no longer employed I've heard that that's the case now that they bring in lower paid in experienceworkers however the idea that we spend $30 for each order and can't eat the food is not acceptable. It literally tastes like asalt shaker full of salt was dumped onto a single wet burrito not to mention the fact that we ask for no added salt. It'sobvious that they no longer care about the customer and the people working there are very unhappy with their jobs. The idea ofsomeone that's unhappy with their job preparing your food is unsettling to most of us I would venture to say. Read more
Everything tastes great and they are good about adjustments to orders.Their chips and salsa are terrific! Their customer... service is present, attentive and thoughful. Ive been coming here for years, so glad they weathered the storm of thepamdemic... its a testament to their client loyalty. This place is great... although, for a dim lit date night, Id go to thefancier resraurant on Manchester, next to the liquor store, a few steps east. I still think the food here is better! They didopen up a patio out back, and they have nice plantings and things blocking any parking lot traffic. A friend suggested this place. It's small and can be easily missed. The food was really good. I had the super deluxe burrito... with carne asada. The staff was really friendly as well. They were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Thechips and salsa were good too! Read more
The plates are reasonably priced, the portions are substantially plentiful, but the food still needs to be seasoned. There's... just something great about seasoned Mexican cuisine. But to me, the ground beef in the ground beef Taco didn't taste quite like100% authentic ground beef. I can't say whether this restaurant is using any meat substitutes, and I didn't notice any words onthe menu stating that imitation ground beef is in the tacos, but the meat was somewhat off. A lot of people don't want any ofthe imitation meats that are now on the market. The ground beef in my taco seemed somewhat strange. A plus is that you get abeverage (a soft drink) included with your combo Special. I had the Pink Lemonade. It's the best. Okay service.
