Holy Moley!! Loved this experience trying Oaxaca Mexican cuisine for the first time. If you're in west Los Angeles area, and... have a craving for authentic Oaxaca food, specifically mole, come to Guelaguetza Restaurant. It's old,nostalgic authentic, charming ambience, with a variety of Mexican music playing in the back ground. Service was excellent. Our server was veryfriendly, attentive and courteous. While out exploring the city we made a stop to grab some food. The wait wasn't long and the servers were quick to take our... orders. The decor and music was authentic and a whole vibe. The food was delicious. We all tried different things and sharedamongst each other to see if we were all in agreement. Overall we enjoyed everything. I came here for my birthday; it was a great experience. I came earlier in the afternoon with a small group to avoid a long wait.... Parking was available with valet; which was worth it. We sat outside which was great because it seemed lively. The quality ofingredients and food was great. Both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks had great flavor. Food was flavorful and with bigportions. I recommend sharing a plate or two pending on the size of your party.
