HIGHLY RECOMMEND! the chicken is ridiculous ????!!! not overly breaded. fried perfectly. I had the 2 piece white meat plate.... super juicy with nice crunchy corners like skillet fried chicken. the baked beans are great. the cole slaw is amazing(not toomuch horseradish). the potato salad reminds me of home; perfect mix of mayo and mustard. the fried okra is not house made, I'msure, but wonderful nonetheless. fried green tomatoes are a lil soggy, but flavorful so I will order again. the mac and cheeseis not good. lastly, I don't know what chess pie is, but get it!! I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Today's visit was prompted by an Off the menu promotion for a... massive piece of fried chicken, or for a $4 upgrade, 4 additional pieces of mouth watering chicken. I also ordered a large sweettea as well which was pretty solid. If you want fried chicken, stop reading here and go to gus's.
