I was blown away! best food ive had in LA. the broccoli was my first bite. mind blowing flavor. not very salty just flavor,... smokey, rich, little sweet, meaty- but i ordered a vegetarian dish. i cant wait to come back and try more. I asked forrecommendations, and i got many good options Read more
Ordered a couple different kinds of bún to try. Unfortunately it was pretty disappointing, which came down to a freshness... problem. Nothing was rotten of course, but everything had clearly been sitting around for a long time, which was especiallyapparent in the greens, and secondly in the noodles. I'm guessing that prep is to make a large number of plain "kit" ordersahead of time and then simply top them with whatever the customer wants. To be crystal clear, I was never afraid of gettingsick. But the real pleasure of eating bún comes from the cool freshness of the ingredients and the contrast of the freshlycooked meat or rolls on top. But it just didn't happen today. Read more
