I stood there and watched this man touch everything with his hands and never washed them. He talked to customer, touched the... counters and did everything you should do with your hands. I went here on my lunch break last week, after a friend had recommended it to me. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted... by Joe himself and asked if it was my first time there. Since it was, he offered me a sample of falafel (such a great touch!),and helped me decide what to order. I got the Falafel Plate and took it to go. It was far and away the best falafel I?ve everhad. Crispy, warm, flavorful, and the perfect density. The hummus and pita that came with my plate were delicious as well. This place is the best. I make the trip from Pasadena to eat here because the chicken kabobs are the best I?ve ever had. The... falafel is also the best. We were looking at the menu posted on the window outside and the owner came out to greet us. He was very friendly and offered... our family some falafel samples which were really fresh and tasty. Visiting LA from San Francisco.....it was my first time eating here at this Mediterranean place. Being a very picky person, I... must tell you that the food was freshly made and excellent. I ordered Lemon Chicken sandwich in a pita and a Falafel sandwich ina pita, and both were made fresh, stuffed with fresh ingredients. The owner was very welcoming and pleasant to talk to.
