Changing my rating. After coming here for probably 5 years, they've changed the head chef and the quality has dropped. The sushi... is still good, but this used to be a go to for a nice lunch, but the ramen is off, they even changed the mayo they use in thespicy tuna so everything tastes off and the service had gone downhill after all the turnover they've had. It's a real shamebecause this used to be the rare place to get consistently good food. Read more
Fantastic menu. Super fresh seafood. Every bite was artfully created and perfect flavors. The server was very attentive and... helped recommend dishes. The shrimp and brussel sprouts was incredible. The Japanese fried chicken was the only thing slightlydisappointing compared to everything else. The chicken was juicy, fried perfectly, but lacked any seasoning. Horrendous. Comparable to gas station or grocery store sushi. I have never had a worse Japanese cuisine experience in my life.... They are practically scamming customers. At the price point you would think they would be decent but nope could not be furtherfrom that. This place makes Japanese food look horrible and it?s insane how much they charge for food that is equivalentquality to lunchables. An incredible sushi experience!!! I must mention that I eat sushi frequently and try to explore new sushi restaurants everywhere... I travel to, so I?ve had a good share of sushi pretty much all over the world including Japan, but what these guys make in thissmall restaurant with a very simple decor is amazing!!! Everything that our server Peter (I hope I recall the name correctly)recommended was off the charts and I loved the presentation and the story of every dish! I cannot wait to go back to LA anddefinitely visit this place again! I highly recommend it!! Read more
