So I finally got to try this place after so long. I'm not a LA local so I'm not a regular. I had high expectations. I'm a big... fan of Roy Choi and I always have high expectations and most flavorful food. But I would have to say, my expectations were toohigh and so I came down harder...I don't think it's that great. Flavors are there but it tastes more like sauce doing the work.What I mean is the meat lacks a charred flavor. Hot damn this place was fantastic! If I lived any closer I would be even fatter then I am. The fries were incredible! The... short rib burrito was phenomenal. My daughter, who won't touch lettuce to save her life sucked down 4 loaded chicken tacos withkimchi because "the kimchi was so amazing I didn't notice the lettuce". Large portions for the price! The short ribs were best followed by the crunchy cheesy blue moon mulita, then spicy pork tacos,... but skip the squid tacos. In general, as everyone else has described, it's a taco truck with Korean twist. Overall, good taco, good burrito, and I... definitely can taste the Korean seasoning. Some tartness also comes from the vegetable, which somewhat taste likekimchi. Overall pretty good, but for me personally it kinda beats the purpose. Don't get me wrong; I get what fusion is, butthis time around I don't see the point of eating korean bbq in small portion and wrapped with tortilla. On the flip side of thecoin, I love taco and burrito because of their signature Mexican taste. That's for me, which is absolutely subjective.
