Flavors were off; does not taste like real Mexican food. The texture of the veggie chicken and asada were pretty good but again... flavors were not good. The worst part was whatever vegan cream they mixed in throughout the chicken tinga burrito; just awfultexture and taste. Also the mild red salsa had the consistency of tomato sauce. Read more

Wish I'd read the reviews before placing an order. I figured burritos were like pizza; you know, even when they're bad, they're... still pretty good. Not the case. Ordered the jackfruit carnitas burrito, and boy was it lacking. In flavor, in texture, ineverything. The hot "diablo" salsa was shockingly bland as well (and not remotely spicy, though that wouldn't be an issue ifthere was some great flavor). I ordered via Postmates. I am on the other side of the city(Hyde park) so it wasn?t fresh (not the restaurant?s fault). I got... one of every taco and they all were solid. The tacos are huge. The fish and chikn tinga were my favorite. The chips tasted housemade. The salsa was solid. The mild and medium salsa were tastier than the Diablo. The Diablo seemed to be hot without thetaste.
