This restaurant has absolutely no idea what customer service is. Valet made us wait 5 minutes to take the car and when we got... inside the hostess (Roxy) said we’re “1 min” late and the grace period has passed. “With a terrible attitude. I askedfor the manager (Kyle , the fat guy) and he was as useless and rude as Roxy. I have never experienced anything like this before. Read more

Meh. That’s how I’d describe my experience here. Had a reservation for 9 PM for a party of 2. We received multiple reminders... of our reservation, asking that we confirm. The rules were clear if you are 15 minutes late, you lose your spot. We were on timeand were greeted by the host at the entrance. Gave us attitude and asked who’s party we were joining, making it obvious thatthey didn’t know us, so we must be meeting someone that was known to the establishment. Bit of a joke given the fact that youcan literally make a reservation for this place directly on their site. Plenty of open spots. We give our name, they see thebooking (duh) and let us in. We are told to go to the bar and have a drink while they get our table ready. We order the spicycocktail. Tasted good. At this point we’ve been at the bar for 30 minutes. Constantly being asked if we want more drinks.I’m good for drinks but a table would be nice. I go to the host, inquire about our table and get told that they have a lot ofbig parties there tonight so we need to wait a little longer. OK, but we’re a table of 2, so I don’t really understand whythe bigger tables affect that. If you ask me to respect a 15 minute window, you should return the favour. Keep waiting whilewatching the bartender make huge batches of cocktails in tubs, pre-bottling them using a funnel. I’m being picky, but I feellike you could do that behind the scenes? Make me feel like my drink is made to order and not like you’re preparing for a fratparty. Especially when your charging $25 a drink. Looked cheap, sorry. Go back to the host, get told that we can be sat on thistiny high table, right by the door if we wish and will then be asked to move to our actual table once it’s ready. Nah, I’mgood. I’ll wait. This whole time the service is not great at the bar. No questions, advice or suggestions, just a constantbarrage of “more drinks?”. Our table is ready, about 45 minutes later than our booking time. Get sat close to the bar, by Read more

I brought here very important clients of mine, the idea was to make them have great time at The Nice Guy. We ended up having the... worst time. Even though I made a reservation way in advance me and my guests had to wait more than an hour by the bar. We nevergot sat. Looks like tips get you the tables here rather than the actual reservations made in advance. On top of that theirmanager, was extremely unprofessional and unethical towards me and my guests. He definitely couldn’t handle thesituation. Needless to say, we left after waiting more than an hour, luckily we found a place that treated us way better. Nobusaved the day, oh well Read more

The restaurant itself was very dark inside to give that "exclusivity" feel, and no photos allowed. I had a mix up with my... reservations but the lovely hostess was able to accommodate us. The vibe was nice in there, very dark. However, they sat us nextto a busy server station and it was hard to hear across my table. It was very distracting. The starters were good, especiallythe arancini balls. The rigatoni pasta was way too salty for my liking. The pizza was the size of a kid's pizza, or it lookedequivalent to a $5 Little Ceasar's pizza. The bread pudding was tasty. Overall, the service was ok but and an underwhelmingexperience. Read more

We booked this restaurant weeks in advance before coming to LA for our honeymoon. When arriving the hostess said that there was... no space inside so we had to sit outside which we would have been fine with except when we went outside there was only one othertable, no atmosphere and different music to the inside. They simply put two tables in what felt like a shed. I was incrediblyupset as I was really looking forward to this restaurant. It turns out they overbook you and some people just get pushed to sitoutside in the shed. The nice guy needs to stop overbooking to make sure that people actually get sat in the restaurant.
