One of the last gems of downtown. No frills but tons of love and the live bands really seal the deal.
First impression is everything... Came in about 430pm Monday... Blonde bartender lady was passive aggresive when asked about... mixed drinks suggestion. The Marguerita was watered down!!! Also she was so busy being chummy with one person at bar she forgotto give us fries we ordered, fries were hard and cold! I had high hopes for this place since I live a couple blocks from here inDTLA. Needless to say I was disappointed thus the 1-Star. Will not be coming back here...Advice to Owners and/or Managers ofbar...Hire new Friendly Bartender asap!!! Read more
Definitely my favorite bar in Dtla. Love the pirate theme and the service is great! Gonna be honest, came here cuz they had AC... and we needed to cool off from the heat. But the food and booze was great! Read more
I gave one star for the good live music. Other than that, this the worst place to go. Firstly, they were rude. I know there were... just two bartenders, but that doesn't mean they can shout at us. Secondly, they charged me double. I was a little drunk andthey took their chance of charging me twice. Thirdly, their food was not that good for the price we paid. Dry fries andbelow-okay wings. Staff was very nice. Bar Tender was not the best at socializing but the food runner did a great job by remaking the salad for... us. He was extremely nice. Drinks were a bit expensive and the tequila options were not the best. The Food was very delicious!The lady enjoyed the pasta and I enjoyed the blacked chicken salad.
