Between Seoul Tofu and Tofu-Ya, I found Seoul tofu to taste a little bit better plus the ambience is better. However, Tofu-Ya... gives you more attention and the side dishes / banchan taste better here. Also, usually no wait here so basically, this is adecent runner up to Seoul Tofu if they are crazy busy and you can't wait. Read more
This place is cozy and no frills, great for a casual lunch! I?ve never ordered online, but service has always been pretty good... inside. The cold noodle soup is my go-to, especially during summer. Seems overlooked in comparison to the other new restaurantsaround. Read more
This is my second time trying this place and both times have been a disappointment. I?ll start with today. I ordered the spicy... cold noodles although the taste was fairly good there was no meat (not even a sliver), it wasn?t cold (it?s supposed to haveice), no ban chan (not even one), no vinegar (to add as preference). All I got was this bowl and chopsticks. There was only oneserver and three tables occupied but service was very slow. The first time was a couple months ago when I ordered tofu soupover the phone and realized I placed the order at the wrong place. I went to Seoul Tofu to pick up my food then realized mymistake. Came here and the server wasn?t very nice. Took my food home and it had an odd aftertaste. I still can?t figure outwhat it was but I ate my meal and decided to not try that again here. Read more
I loved their tofu soup! I had a combo of denjang and bulgogi. The denjang soup with medium spice wasn?t too spicy. The bulgogi... was sizzling and was well seasoned! Each comes with rice so I was very full after eating the combo. We also got a seafoodpancake wish was yummy as well. We had a bibimbap, dolsot bibimbap, and pork katsu all as combos. The bath room is outside inthe back of the building and you need a key to use. It was surprisingly clean! They?re definitely understaffed but trying theirbest. Read more

Although the restaurant could be a little bit more tidier, the Korean bbq, tofu soup, and ramen were delicious and the staff was... nice. The ramen broth was very savory. I ordered the tofu soup second to highest spice level and I should have maxed it out. Ieat pretty spicy. There is a locked bathroom around the back of the restaurant, and you need to request for the key. Love theSawtelle area! Read more
